About Oblique Table
Oblique Table is a creative gathering space in New York City — built around making, meeting, and slowing down.
We bring together independent artists, hands-on workshops, and thoughtful social experiences, creating space for people to make something with their hands and connect along the way.
EXPERIENCE
Hands-on workshops rooted in natural materials, craftsmanship, and cultural traditions. Learn the stories and techniques behind different crafts while slowing down, working with your hands, and creating something of your own.
Community
Alongside our workshops, we host free weekday community events — from drawing together to skill-sharing sessions led by our volunteers. A casual way to create, learn from one another, and meet new people.
Creative Lounge
Bring your own craft, meet someone new, or spend a quiet creative afternoon. Open four days a week, with an unlimited seasonal tea bar and a journaling station filled with stamps, paper embossers, dried flowers, and an ever-growing collection of creative supplies.

Be part of our journey ⋆。°✩ 🪻₊˚⊹♡
Oblique Table is growing into a place you can return to — not only for a workshop, but simply to spend time creating. We imagine a space for making, gathering, sharing tea, discovering independent artists, and finding a little room to slow down in New York City.
Why We Make What We Make
We believe making with your hands can be joyful, grounding, and deeply relaxing. Through touch, texture, scent, and natural materials, the process becomes as meaningful as what you take home. It’s a chance to slow down, engage your senses, learn something with care, and simply enjoy the feeling of making.
Collaboration
We’re always looking forward to meeting artists, makers, teachers, and event organizers who have something thoughtful to share. Whether you’d like to host a workshop, create an event, showcase your work, or explore an idea together, we’d love to hear from you.
