Step into early autumn through scent.
Inspired by White Dew (Báilù / 白露), one of the 24 traditional Chinese solar terms, this hands-on workshop explores the quiet moment when summer begins to fade and the season starts to turn inward.
Using a pre-mixed incense dough made with natural aromatic ingredients and seasonal botanicals such as chrysanthemum and osmanthus, you’ll slowly shape your own cone incense by hand. Add dried flowers, spices, or natural powders, or simply enjoy the tactile rhythm of making.
Along the way, we’ll introduce the seasonal meanings behind the ingredients and explore how incense and scent have long been woven into everyday rituals in Chinese culture.
You’ll leave with 10–15 handmade incense cones, a personal scent recipe card, and instructions for drying and burning your incense at home.
No previous experience is needed. All materials are provided.
